Nominations for the 2019 Canadian Cowboy Challenge Board of Directors

Nomination Deadline is November 30, 2018

The Canadian Cowboy Challenge Association is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Board of Directors. We're excited about 2019 and the years to follow, as the Association grows and expands on a national level.

If you consider yourself or someone you know to be a motivated, driven individual capable of leading the Association, we are looking for individuals with prior experience to serve as Directors in the following areas:


  • Creating and Managing Policies and Procedures
  • Communication: Media, Distribution, Online Content Management
  • Marketing and Promotion
  • Membership Management and Member Relations
  • Finance and Accounting
  • Events Management
  • Rules of, and Judging Standards for Equine Events
  • Managing and Promoting Events for Families and Children

Note that as a Director, you will be responsible and accountable for managing one of these areas, or serving as President or Vice-President.  A position as a board member requires that you be a manager of a facet of CCC operation versus simply contributing your opinion at meetings.  Every member has the right to share their opinion, we need people to run the association.

If you would like to assist the Association, but unable to meet the time or managerial commitment required of a Director as described above, we also require volunteer members to serve on several committees in the areas listed above. Once the Board of Directors has been elected, we'll issue a call for members to join these committees as needed.


Code of Conduct

Board members must abide by the CCC Code of Conduct. You can view this document here. Nominees for the board MUST read, understand and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.


Eligibility

Nominations will only be accepted from Canadian Cowboy Challenge Association members with a current membership.

Memberships can be purchased or extended by visiting the website at www.canadiancowboychallenge.com.


Nomination Format

Nominees must submit all of the following:

  • Full Name;
  • Mailing Address;
  • Phone Number;
  • Maximum of ONE (1) page document describing in detail your relevant experience as it relates to the items above;
  • A statement saying that you have read, understood and agree to abide by the Code of Conduct.

Nomination Submission

Nominations MUST be received no later than November 30th, 2018.

Elections

Elections will be held during the Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting will be held at 1:00 PM on January 19, 2019.  At the Kozy Korner in Lacombe AB. 5024 53st.
